Physic Students Construct Electronic Cars (Engineering Challenge)

These pictures are a celebration of our student’s academic engagement and progress. The Physics students were exposed to authentic learning which involves a mixture of project based instruction, Scientific inquiry method, and collaboration among peers to connect the abstract physics concepts learned to real live.

The students design and tested their electronic cars (Engineering Challenge) to summarize and apply the concepts of effect of unbalance forces on object and relate the concepts to Newton's laws of motion.

Our physics students are continuously engaged in collaborative grouping to facilitate their learning process in a way that all students will is able to access physics contents required by TEKS. The students continuously frame physics contents in such a way that it makes sense to them. Levels of English Language proficiencies do not prevent physics students learning and applying Physics successfully.

These pictures illustrate the untiring efforts of our students to simplify the abstract concepts in physics to concrete real life application in the field of Engineering.
