JFK Elem Holds Student Council Officer Installation

JFK Installation of

Student Council

Officers and Representatives

On Thursday, November 6, 2014 John F. Kennedy had a special ceremony for installation of officers and classroom representatives. Each individual student had a different colored sand and they poured it into a container. This signified each student coming together towards one common goal.

The 2014-2015 student council leaders were sworn in to office by Dr. Jose Saldivar, Edcouch-Elsa ISD school board president. He also spoke to students about the importance of leadership.  Student Council officers and representatives also recited the student council pledge as part of their ceremony.

Thank you to Dr. Saldivar and parents for taking some time to be with us and making this a memorable day.

Congratulations to the 2014-15 John F. Kennedy Elementary Student Council members!
