“LEI OFF DRUGS”

Along with the rest of the nation, John F. Kennedy Elementary students and staff participated in several activities that encourage drug prevention through the RED RIBBON WEEK Campaign.

During this week students learn about DEA Agent Enrique Camarena and his fight against drugs coming into the United States.  Students are taught about the dangers of drug abuse. Students and staff set clear rules about NOT using drugs and take a pledge to stay drug free.

On Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 students made a promise to “Lei off Drugs”. Students and Staff dressed in Hawaiian clothing and wore Leis to kick start the week.
